Shock Premier League star tipped to be best player in the world after Messi & Ronaldo

A surprising endorsement has emerged, suggesting that an Aston Villa player could ascend to the ranks of the world’s best player, eventually succeeding Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo as football’s leading figure.

Kylian Mbappe, despite his talent, has yet to secure a Ballon d’Or title at 25, leaving many to wonder when he will finally claim the prestigious award.

Yet, according to football agent Craig Butler, PSG’s attacker may need to step aside for Aston Villa’s winger, Leon Bailey.

It’s quite surprising, considering Bailey’s talent, but he’s not typically mentioned in the same breath as Ronaldo and Messi.

During an appearance on the Up the Villa Podcast, Butler sought to justify his assertions.

“There is so much more to come. I don’t think Leon has hit 40% of his potential yet. You’ve only seen 40 percent of what Leon can do. It’s about the timing, I believe that one day he will be the best player in the world,” He argued.

Bailey has excelled for Villa this season, firmly establishing his authority in his position with eight goals and eight assists, surpassing summer signing Moussa Diaby by four in combined goals and assists.

“He’ll keep getting better and better and one day he will be regarded as the best player in the world. Messi is getting older, Cristiano’s getting older, Neymar has injury problems and is getting older, [Kylian] Mbappe as well. Leon has no cap on his potential. You’ve not seen anything yet,” Continued Butler.

The 26-year-old Jamaican winger has undeniably demonstrated world-class potential throughout his career.

While his early years at Bayer Leverkusen may have hinted at even greater achievements, his current form suggests he may be poised to fulfill the high expectations placed upon him.
