William Gallas: Senderos had panic attacks before facing Didier Drogba
Former Arsenal and Chelsea defender William Gallas has revealed his ex-Arsenal teammate Philippe Senderos suffered panic attacks before games.
The duo were centre-back partners in an Arsenal team which, despite having the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Robin van Persie and Emmanuel Adebayor, failed to deliver the silverware for their club.

In particular, that Arsenal group suffered at the hands of Chelsea and their deadly striker Didier Drogba, who had an incredible record of 13 goals in 15 matches against the Gunners in all competitions.
‘I knew Philippe Senderos, before a match he would need to speak a lot, you could see that he was sweating, that he did not feel good,’ Gallas told RMC.
