Erik ten Hag has extended his best wishes to Jadon Sancho following the winger’s loan departure from Manchester United.
Sancho has returned to Borussia Dortmund on loan for the remainder of the season, aiming to revive his career that faced setbacks since the public disagreement with Ten Hag in September.

Ten Hag had raised concerns about Sancho’s training commitment after omitting him from the squad against Arsenal, leading to a social media dispute between the two.
The 23-year-old asserted that he was unfairly singled out, and his refusal to apologize for the comments resulted in his exclusion from the first team.
With the saga now temporarily resolved, Ten Hag expressed a desire to swiftly move forward.
“I hope he’s doing well, so I wish him the best of good luck,” Ten Hag told Friday’s press conference. “That’s it. I hope he’s doing well and he’ll be a success.”
When asked a second question on Sancho, the Dutchman abruptly added: “I replied [to the previous question], I think it’s enough.”
Sancho’s loan arrangement with Dortmund excludes the option for a permanent transfer, as Dortmund director Sebastian Kehl openly acknowledges financial constraints preventing such a deal.
However, Kehl suggests a permanent move might be reconsidered in the summer if United’s financial demands are reasonable.
When Sancho returns to Old Trafford, he will have two years left on his contract, with the option for United to extend it by another 12 months.
United remains optimistic that Sancho, acquired for £73m in 2021, will enhance his transfer value during his stint in Dortmund, where he previously accumulated 50 goals and 64 assists in 137 games before his unsuccessful move to Manchester.
