England kick off their Euro 2024 campaign against Group C rivals Serbia at the Veltins-Arena on Sunday night.
England had a strong showing in Euro 2024 qualifying Group C, avenging their previous European Championship final loss to Italy, who had beaten them on penalties at Wembley.
Despite remaining unbeaten in the qualifiers, England registered draws against Ukraine and North Macedonia in away matches. Additionally, they delivered a lackluster performance in a 1-0 defeat to a defensive Iceland side ahead of this tournament opener.
