Manchester United players are reportedly doing everything possible to convince Paul Pogba to stay at the club this summer and beyond, with the player’s future in question once again.
The France international will be out of contract at Old Trafford next year and a new contract is not anywhere near being signed as yet.
United will be loathed to let him leave on a free transfer in 2022 so will be tempted to cash in on him this summer transfer window, with Paris Saint-Germain reported to be interested.

However, Pogba’s teammates wants the former Juventus star to stay at the club and commit his future to the Red devils, with Marcus Rashford among those getting in his ear.
A source told The Sun: ‘Rashford and several others have been doing everything to convince Pogba to stay. ‘They believe the team would lose a key man if he goes as he’s seen as a genuine world-class talent among the squad.
‘He’s also a leader in the dressing room — one of the players the younger ones look up to when the team is struggling.’
However, The announcement that Pogba’s teammate in the France national team – Raphael Varane has agreed a deal to join United could help persuade him to remain at the club.
The central defender is on the verge of completing the move, with everything already agreed and the transfer will see them pay Real Madrid £34m, with add-ons potentially rising to £42m.
PSG are willing to offer around £40million for Pogba and he is keen in making the move to Paris.
While some Manchester United players are keen for Pogba to stay, the club may wish to cash in on him now, rather than offer him another contract on crazy wages, with his current deal worth £290,000-per-week.
A new contract would see that increase, which is hard to justify based on his displays so far since he returned to the theatre of dreams from Juventus in 2016.
