Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has dropped his biggest hint yet that he will leave Anfield this summer.
The Senegal international has only one year left on his current deal at Anfield with Jurgen Klopp’s side keen to tie him down to a new deal.
Mane however has reportedly informed the Reds he wants a new challenge after six outstanding seasons on Merseyside.
Bayern Munich are reportedly leading the race for the 30-year-old who stated before the Champions League final against Real Madrid that would address his future soon.
Mane is currently on international duty with the Senegal squad ahead of an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin on Saturday.
And when asked about his club future, the former Southampton attacker suggested a move is on the cards.
‘Like everyone else, I’m on social media and I see the comments.’ Mane said. ‘Isn’t it between 60 to 70% of Senegalese want me to leave Liverpool? I will do what they want.
‘We will see soon! Don’t be in a hurry because we will see this together. The future will tell us.’
Mane been very influential in the success of Klopp’s team over recent seasons, helping them win the UEFA Champions League in 2019 and the Premier League a year later.
He was also key in Liverpool’s push for an unprecedented quadruple last campaign, as the Reds fell short in the Champions League and Premier League but won both domestic cup competitions.
