AC Milan forward Olivier Giroud has urged one of his former Chelsea team-mates to join him at the Serie A club this summer.
The France World Cup winner spent three-and-a-half years at Stamford Bridge, scoring 39 goals in 119 matches for the West London side.
The 36-year-old joined AC Milan in 2021 and has continued to be of use in the Serie A, scoring 27 goals across the last two years and helping Stefano Pioli’s team reach the UEFA Champions League semi-final.

Several Chelsea stars are expected to be sold this summer window after Todd Boehly’s huve £600m spending spree over the past one year.
Giroud hopes AC Milan take advantage of the clear-out in London by signing his former Chelsea team-mate Christian Pulisic.
USA international Pulisic has flattered to deceive during his four-year spell at the club, only starting eight league matches this campaign.
‘I think everyone would like it,’ Giroud said on the prospect of Pulisic joining AC Milan.
‘He’s a big name in Europe, so that would help us. He is that kind of player with great skills, with great talent.
‘He is a cheerful boy, always smiling and we laughed a lot together.
‘Our understanding on the pitch was also excellent, a bit like with Eden Hazard, even though I played less with Christian. We knew how to find each other.’
Despite Pulisic’s poor spell in west London, he still has supporters across Europe and Napoli and Juventus are among the teams interested in signing the former Dortmund winger.
