Manchester United are set to make a final decision on the future of Mason Greenwood over the next few weeks, according to reports.
Greenwood has not played for United since before he was suspended by the club after his arrest last January, although the charges against him were dropped in February of this year.
The Red Devils decided to launch their own investigation earlier this year, with the outcome expected to shape their next steps in dealing with the issue.

This process is yet to be finalised but is close to conclusion, and that will see Greenwood discover what the future holds for him at Old Trafford over the coming weeks, according to the Manchester Evening News.
It is said that a final decision will soon be taken by the club, which could see an announcement made before the conclusion of their ongoing takeover process.
Senior figures at Old Trafford are still reported to be mulling over the player’s next move, with his contract set to run until the summer of 2025 as things stand.

Greenwood has not played for United since featuring in their win against West Ham back in January of last year, while he has also not been training with his team-mates at Carrington after his suspension.
It was reported by the Daily Mail in March that staff members were divided over whether he should be welcomed back into the team, with players from both the men’s and women’s teams believed to have been opposed to the idea.
Meanwhile, Erik ten Hag has remained tight-lipped on a return for Greenwood when quizzed on the topic recently.
But, the Dutchman said he will not be involved in making any decisions regarding Greenwood’s future ahead of next campaign.
However, it has also been reported by The Sun that Greenwood believes he will never play for United again and has told close friends that he expects to leave the club.
