Thiago Silva’s wife slams Pochettino again after Chelsea were destroyed by Arsenal

Thiago Silva’s wife expressed her sentiments on social media after Chelsea’s heavy 5-0 loss to Arsenal.

The defeat saw Arsenal emerge victorious with a five-nil win at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday.

Notably, Kai Havertz netted two goals against his former team, prompting attention to Chelsea’s official account’s response to his performance.

Leandro Trossard and Ben White (twice) found the net for the Gunners, propelling them three points ahead of second-placed Liverpool and four points ahead of third-placed Manchester City, who still have two games in hand over Mikel Arteta’s team.

Meanwhile, Chelsea remains in ninth place after suffering their 11th league defeat of the season.

Following the match, Silva’s wife shared her thoughts on social media about Chelsea’s humiliating loss in North London.

She posted a ‘see-no-evil monkey’, ‘speak-no-evil monkey’ and ‘hear-no-evil monkey’ emojis in a damning assessment of the club.

Belle Silva has previously used social media to express her feelings about a Chelsea loss, and she seemed to criticize manager Mauricio Pochettino earlier this season.

Despite not starting the game, the veteran defender entered the match when his team was trailing by five goals.

With 33 appearances across all competitions this season, the 39-year-old is expected to depart Stamford Bridge when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Pochettino lamented his team’s slow starts in each half after the match.

“We started each half with low energy, and then when we conceded the third goal it was so easy for Arsenal,” he said. “Like against Manchester City, we created chances and weren’t clinical. It’s not nice to see your team to play like this.”

Chelsea resume their faltering league season on Saturday when they face Aston Villa.
