Pogba initially named Real Madrid’s Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior but quickly reconsidered, suggesting that Erling Haaland and Harry Kane are also strong contenders.
Haaland has been in remarkable form, netting 104 goals in 113 games since he joined Manchester City in 2022, contributing to the team’s historic treble under manager Pep Guardiola in his debut season.
On the other hand, Kane has an impressive record of 61 goals in 59 matches for Bayern Munich. Before his move from Tottenham over a year ago, he was on track to surpass Alan Shearer’s all-time Premier League goal record.
The 31-year-old striker has scored more than 400 goals across his club and international career, becoming England’s top goalscorer last year, overtaking Manchester United icon and Pogba’s former teammate, Wayne Rooney.

‘It is for Spanish football and for the figure of the midfielder.’
