Neymar could be in line for a shocking transfer move to Juventus to link up with former Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, as the Brazilian pushes for a move away from Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports in Spain.
Neymar made his intentions known earlier this week as he told PSG sporting director Leonardo that he wanted to leave.
The superstar is seemingly looking forward to a return to Barcelona, having spent two years in Paris.
However, after Barcelona completed the signing of Antoine Griezmann, it is feared that they will have limited funds remaining, and will be unable to fund any move for the Brazil international.
The Spanish giants spent £108million on the France international, representing their biggest outlay since the signing of Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool for £127m last January window.
Despite Barca fans longing for a reunion for their strike force of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar, a move is looking less likely everyday.
However, Mundo Deportivo claims – via Spanish radio station RAI – that a meeting has been set up between Neymar’s father who also serves as his agent and Juventus in Turin.
The report states that Neymar Sr will meet with Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici, and that the Italian side are confident of causing an upset in what they call the ‘Neymar soap opera’.
Though, Neymar has not publicly stated his desire to leave PSG, but manager Thomas Tuchel confirmed that he had told the club he wants an exit.
On Wednesday, it was reported that PSG had conceded that Neymar will leave, and decided to start listening to offers for him.
A list of clubs was drawn up – with the approval of Neymar – and he was then offered up to the proposed teams.
