Bayern Munich are reportedly open to allowing Thiago Alcantara leave this summer but Liverpool and Manchester United will have to pay their £27.2m asking price.
Thiago has only one year left on his contract with the German side and has not yet agreed a new deal with Bayern.
Liverpool have been linked with a transfer move for the midfielder, with reports claiming that Klopp’s side have agreed personal terms with him.
Manchester United are also reported to be in the running to sign Thiago – the 29-year-old was close to moving to Old Trafford in 2013.
According to Bild, Bayern Munich are willing to offload Thiago this summer window as long as any club matches their £27.2m valuation.
The report also claims that Bayern want to offload Corentin Tolisso, who has been linked with a transfer to Man United.
But, Liverpool have reservations over signing Thiago as they are concerned about his age and injury record.
When asked about a possible move for Thiago, Klopp said: ‘I have no idea who will play for me next year, there is nothing to say at the moment.

‘Thiago Alcantara is a great player, but also a Bayern Munich player. That’s actually all there is to say. There’s nothing to say!’
A move for Thiago Alcantara may depend on the future of Georginio Wijnaldum, who has only a year left on his contract at Anfield and is yet agree a new deal.
And United are looking to strenghten Solskjaer’s midfield and have also been linked with a move for Donny van de Beek.
