Thiago Silva’s spouse seems to have advocated for Mauricio Pochettino’s dismissal following Chelsea’s 4-2 defeat to Wolves on Sunday.
Despite a 4-1 loss at Anfield earlier in the week, the Blues aimed to rebound at Stamford Bridge and initially succeeded with Cole Palmer scoring an early goal.

However, the lead was short-lived as Matheus Cunha scored minutes later, and an own goal from Axel Disasi just before halftime gave the visitors a narrow lead.
Chelsea’s players faced boos as they exited the tunnel at halftime, and the situation worsened after the restart.
Cunha completed his first-ever Premier League hat-trick, and although Thiago Silva scored a late goal from a corner, many fans had already left, while those who stayed expressed their frustrations.
A portion of fans echoed former owner Roman Abramovich’s name, some joined Wolves supporters in chanting ‘You’re s**t and you know you are,’ and additional boos and jeers followed the full-time whistle.
It seems Chelsea’s supporters aren’t the only ones expressing discontent with Pochettino and the team, as Thiago Silva’s outspoken wife Belle appears to advocate for a managerial change.
Tweeting before full-time, Belle wrote on social media platform X: ‘It’s time to change. If you wait any longer it will be too late.’
Chelsea supporters took Belle’s comment to be in reference to Pochettino, with famous fan Frank Khalid replying her tweet: ‘I’d prefer you to manage Chelsea!’
Her comment garnered considerable support, but some raised concerns about the professionalism of a current player’s wife openly criticizing the manager.
This isn’t the first instance of Belle Silva using social media to harshly criticize Chelsea or a former manager, as she did last season when Graham Potter was in charge.
While tweeting in January last year, she said: ‘If there was a Thiago Silva in attack and one in midfield, with what we already have in defence.’
After the loss, Chelsea finds themselves in 11th position in the Premier League, trailing 15 points behind Aston Villa, who currently hold the fourth spot and the final automatic Champions League qualification.
The substantial investments made by Chelsea in the last 18 months were presumably contingent on securing a top-four finish or, at the very least, European qualification, which now appears to be a challenging prospect.
