Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera believes Chelsea forward Eden Hazard is the best player in the Premier League.
The Spaniard is preparing to face the Belgium international this Saturday as Jose Mourinho’s team take on Antonio Conte’s men in the final of the FA Cup at Wembley.
Mohamed Salah was crowned PFA Player of the Year after an impressive season at Liverpool, while the Egyptian also won the Premier League’s Golden Boot with his record-breaking 32-goal season.
But Herrera believes Hazard should still be considered the best player in England.
‘For me, Hazard is the best player in the league,’ the United midfielder said on The Big Interview with Graham Hunter.
‘In my opinion he’s the best player in the league, I’ve said that since my first day here.’
Herrera also believes his teammate David De Gea is the best goalkeeper in world football.
‘For me, David is the best by far,’ said Herrera.
‘I think he has something that comes from god.
‘God chose him in the goal and god chose Messi on the pitch.
‘You cannot train what he did against Liverpool [at Anfield].
‘You cannot train what he did against Kun Aguero when he was two metres in front of him and he put the hand out, you cannot train it.

‘You can train when he receives the ball from the left defender and he passes the ball to Antonio Valencia pefect.
‘You can see when he receives the ball he knows always what to do.
‘He has some special abilities that I think he hasn’t trained them, because you cannot train them, you just have them.’
