Manchester United have agreed a world-record £80million deal for Leicester City defender Harry Maguire.
The England ace is set to fly to Manchester for his medical tomorrow as a deal is already in place.
SunSport understand that United will pay Leicester £60m for Harry Maguire, with an extra £20m included in add-ons.
And that will see him become the world’s most expensive defender, topping the £75m Liverpool paid to sign Virgil van Dijk, 28, in 2018.
The Foxes have already found a superb replacement for their leader with 27-year-old Lewis Dunk set to join from Brighton in a £45m move.
United have beaten their bitter rivals Manchester City to the England international’s signature as both clubs have seen their £70m bids rejected by Leicester.
But after Old Trafford chiefs increased their offer, Leicester City eventually sanctioned the deal.
That comes just a few days after Maguire angrily accused the Foxes of pricing him out of his mega move to United.
Jose Mourinho had been desperate to sign the central defender last summer window after the former Hull man’s performances for England at the World Cup.
Leicester signed the Sheffield man for £17m in 2017 and will make a huge £43m profit straight away.
He became a father back in April after his wife Fern gave birth to a daughter, nine months after England’s outstanding season at the World Cup.
However, United are still chasing Sporting Lisbon’s Bruno Fernandes and Newcastle youngster Sean Longstaff.
