Man Utd in talks to sign Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Bayern winger Kingsley Coman and have held discussions about the player signing for the club.

The Red devils are desperate to strengthen their wide options ahead of next campaign and Coman is on their list, according to The Athletic.




Kingsley Coman is seen as an alternative in the wide position if they are cannot secure a deal to sign primary target, Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho.

Coman is believed to be interested in joining United whether it’s a permanent or loan deal. He is also keen on linking up with France international teammates Paul Pogba and Anthony.

Sancho has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for a while now, but United are likely to face competition for the winger.

Dortmund are also demanding for a fee around £100m for the England international, a figure United may not be able to meet.




But, Coman, who has scored seven goals and provided seven assists in 35 matches in all competitions this campaign, could be an easier option.

Bayern Munich have already completed the signing of Leroy Sane, now Coman is likely to see first-team chances limited next campaign if he stays at the club.




Coman has on the league title in each campaign of his career thus far, the Frenchman won Ligue 1 twice with PSG, lifted the Serie A two times with Juventus and has also won the Bundesliga five times with his current team Bayern Munich.

United have been playing strikers like Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood in wide positions, but Solskjaer wants to sign a natural in that position this summer.

Manchester United, who are currently third go into Sunday’s final league match against Leicester City looking for at least a draw.
