Lionel Messi has already decided to stay at Barcelona which could spell the end for Antoine Griezmann at the club, according to reports.
Manchester United and Premier League rivals Liverpool and Arsenal have reportedly been put on ‘red alert’ in order to sign Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann.
The Red devils got their transfer window rolling earlier this week as they strengthened their midfield with the signing of Ajax star Donny van de Beek.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still wants more attacking improvement to increase his side’s chances of winning the Premier League title, with Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho the main target this summer.
However, a deal for the 20-year-old appears very doubtful as Dortmund are adamant that he will be staying at the club for at least one more year, with his contract being extended until 2023.
United haven’t given up on signing Jadon Sancho but they have been linked with a couple of attacking alternatives if they fail to bring him to Old Trafford.
Recent reports claim World Cup winner Griezmann, who could be available this summer window due to Lionel Messi’s decision to stay at Nou Camp.

Messi sent shock waves throughout the game after informing the Barcelona of his desire to leave but has since announced that he will stay this summer in order to avoid a legal dispute with the Spanish club.
Griezmann had been reportedly promised Messi’s role at Barcelona in the event of his exit by new boss Ronald Koeman but the Argentine forward’s U-turn could now bring his disappointing stint at the club to a close.
The Frenchman has struggled to live up to expectations after his £108m move from Atletico Madrid last summer and only scored nine goals throughout the La Liga campaign.
