Sadio Mane has refused to confirm he will stay at Liverpool for another season after interest from Bayern Munich.
The Senegal international has been a key part of Jurgen Klopp’s side this campaign, with 23 goals in 50 matches so far.
But his contract with Liverpool expires in 2023, meaning he could leave Anfield as a free agent next year.
According to reports in Germany, Bayern have already held discussions with Mane’s agent with a view to signing the 30-year-old this summer.
When asked directly about his link with a move to Bayern after Liverpool’s open training session on Wednesday, Mane said he will provide clarity over his future after the Champions League final against Real Madrid.
‘I think the question is a very good question, for now it’ll be difficult for me to answer,’ Mane said.
‘But for sure, I’m very focused on the Champions League. ‘Ask me the question after the Champions League, I will answer you.’
Following Mane’s evasieness over his future, Mohamed Salah says he will remain at Liverpool for another season, even if he doesn’t agree a new contract this summer.
‘I don’t focus on the contract at the moment. I don’t want to be selfish,’ Salah said.
‘I am staying next season, for sure.’
