Paul Pogba looks likely to have played his last game for Manchester United after rejecting a contract offer worth £50m, according to reports.
The Frenchman’s current deal expires in 2022 and United risk losing him on a free transfer if he continues to hold the club to ransom with his huge wage demands.
Solskjaer has repeatedly revealed United’s desire to tie Pogba down with a new deal and they have been willing to increase his wages to £350,000-per-week, but to no avail.

According to The Mirror, United’s offer has now been rejected by Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola – and it leaves the club with little option but to search the market for possible replacements this summer.
According to reports in France, PSG are ready to spend £45m on Pogba’s signature and are close to agreeing personal terms with the France international.
However, the Red devils are refusing to allow Pogba leave on the cheap and want in excess of £50m from the French club.
He would become Pochettino’s sixth signing of the summer should an agreement be reached, after Hakimi, Danilo Pereira, Wijnaldum, Sergio Ramos and Donnarumma joined the club.
Pogba left United as a free agent back in 2012 only for the club to buy him back for a transfer fee of €105m (£89m) just four years later.
The midfielder has notched up 38 goals and 42 assists in his second spell but it appears his days at Old Trafford are numbered as he looks to push through a move to PSG.
He grew up in the eastern suburbs of the French capital and a transfer move back home would bring the player closer to friends and family.
