Michael Ballack reveals Chelsea exit regret and coping with Mourinho’s sacking
Michael Ballack enjoyed his career which included five domestic league titles, two Champions League finals and a World Cup runners-up medal. But he regretted leaving Chelsea too soon.
One of the main reason to join Chelsea in the summer of 2006 was the opportunity to work with Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese manager had led the club to back-to-back Premier League titles and, aided by the financial power of Roman Abramovich, was attracting some of Europe's finest to London.
Asked who he spoke to before joining Chelsea, Ballack said: "It was important for me to talk to the coach. You really get caught by his personality and by his ambitions.
