The FA Cup semi-finals clash between Manchester United and Liverpool is scheduled to take place at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Manchester United, led by Erik ten Hag, secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest in the fifth round, while Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool triumphed 3-0 against Southampton to reach this stage.
After exits from the Carabao Cup and Champions League, United are pinning their hopes on the FA Cup for silverware, especially since they currently sit sixth in the Premier League.
In contrast, Liverpool, who have already secured the Carabao Cup, occupy second place in the Premier League and remain contenders in both the FA Cup and the Europa League.
