Edinson Cavani looks set to make his Manchester United debut after being included in the provisional squad, while two more players have returned to boost Solskjaer’s options.
After defeating Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, the Red devils have another big clash on Saturday when Chelsea visit Old Trafford.
The players all checked into the Lowry Hotel the night before the match and Cavani was part of the group after missing the PSG game. Greenwood and Harry Maguire also checked in with the rest of the squad.
Solskjaer expected the trio to ne involved and they have been passed fit to face the blues – who themselves have a fully fit squad to choose from ahead of the Premier League game.
‘I hope and expect all three of them to be available for selection,’ the Norwegian manager said earlier in the day. ‘Of course we’ve got a training session this morning which is the last chance of preparation, but they’ve all got a chance, all of them.

‘Edinson needs to tick all the boxes that he’s gone through in his programme to be ready and make an impact. I’ll have a discussion with him today, as well as with Mason and Harry.’
Cavani, Maguire and Greenwood ticked all the boxes and, with Anthony Martial remains suspended, the Uruguayan forward could even start against Chelsea.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Alex Telles did not arrive with his teammates as he has been staying at the hotel since his transfer move to the club and will be part of the squad.
