Manchester United’s players are privately concerned about Jadon Sancho and are questioning whether the club made a mistake by bringing him to the theatre of dreams, according to reports.
The England international scored 50 goals and provided 67 assists for Borussia Dortmund after joining the German club from Manchester City in 2017.
His superb form in Germany caught the attention of several top European sides and the Red devils eventually secured his signature last summer in a deal worth more than £70m.

Much was expected of Sancho when he arrived at United but he has made an underwhelming start to his career at the club, failing to score or assist in ten matches in all competitions.
Sancho started for United against Leicester City on Saturday but once again struggled to make a significant impact before being subbed off for Marcus Rashford midway through the second half of the game.
It was a frustrating afternoon for Sancho and the team as a whole, who lost 4-2 to Leicester City to slip to sixth in the table and further behind Premier League leaders Chelsea.
According to The Times and Daily Record’s Duncan Castles, there are concerns within the club that Sancho is struggling to adapt to his move and the demands of the Premier League.
Castles, speaking on The Transfer Window Podcast, claims the 21-year-old’s team-mates are worried about his form and believe he has been inefficient on the pitch.
It is claimed players and coaches at the club have also been unimpressed by both Sancho’s contributions and attitude even in training, leading to ‘major question marks’ over his transfer.
However, Gary Neville believes Sancho is a ‘victim’ of the club’s poor form, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team failing to win any of their last three league matches.
‘Sancho at this moment, he’s a victim of the current performances of the team,’ Neville said on Instagram Live following United’s defeat to Leicester City.
‘You’d like a player like that to come into a settled unit and he’s just still finding his feet. I did think he played well in the last 20 minutes against Everton a couple of weeks ago.
‘But he shouldn’t be the focus point of any criticism at this moment in time. Yes, of course you’re going to get criticism as a United player signed for that level of money but again that would be a distraction.
‘I think they have to get the balance of the team right. Sancho, Fernandes, Pogba, Ronaldo and Greenwood all in the same team, you’re going to have to get three or four of them to work like they’ve never worked before if that team is going to win against good teams because it doesn’t work hard enough out of possession.’
