Declan Rice is finally expecting to be an Arsenal player by the beginning of July as the Gunners prepare a second offer for West Ham’s captain.
Mikel Arteta has made Rice one of his main targets for the summer window and Arsenal are keen to complete a deal for the England midfielder soon.
An offer of £80 million was turned down by West Ham last week, and the North London club are hoping to spark a bidding war between several clubs.

But, MailOnline claims that Rice is intent on signing for Arsenal and expects to join the Premier League club by the end of the month.
The report also claims that the Gunners have ‘verbally indicated’ to West Ham that their second bid will be in excess of £100million.
Rice played 59 minutes in England’s 7-0 victory over North Macedonia on Monday and is now due to go on holiday this week.
After the match, the midfielder posed alongside Arsenal star Bukayo Saka with the match ball after his first career hat-trick.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have reportedly made an improved offer to Chelsea for Kai Havertz.
A £45m bid was immediately rejected by Chelsea last week but it’s believed that Arsenal have returned with a proposal worth around £60m.
Havertz has made it clear that he will not sign a new deal with Chelsea, which puts the club under pressure to sell this summer as they do not want the player to enter the last 12 months of his deal.
