A picture of Kai Havertz in an Arsenal Jersey has been leaked on Twitter ahead of his expected transfer to the Emirates.
The Gunners are close to securing the signing of Havertz from rivals Chelsea for a fee of £65million.
The picture shows Havertz smiling while wearing Arsenal’s new home shirt for the 2023-24 season.
It is believed that the Germany international will become Arsenal’s first signing of this summer transfer window.
Although Havertz had a tough time at Chelsea, Arteta values his versatility, with the 24-year-old having been used as a striker, an attacking midfielder and out wide.
After joining from Bayer Leverkusen in 2020, Havertz played 139 matches for Chelsea and scored 32 goals, while he also provided 15 assists.

He notably scored the winning goal for Chelsea against Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League final in 2021.
Arsenal are also looking to make other signings to their team, most notably with their pursuit of West Ham’s Declan Rice.
It is expected that Arsenal will make a third bid for Rice after having two bids rejected, although Manchester City are also interested in the West Ham United midfielder.
Meanwhile, the North London side have made an improved bid of £41.5m for Ajax defender Jurrien Timber.
