William Gallas names two Man Utd stars he wants Chelsea to sign this summer

William Gallas suggests that Chelsea should consider signing Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford from Manchester United during the upcoming transfer period.

Despite Chelsea’s recent thrilling victory over United, they couldn’t maintain their winning streak, ending in a 2-2 draw with Sheffield United away from home.

Chelsea managed to lead twice but Sheffield United’s Jayden Bogle and Oli McBurnie, with a last-gasp goal, leveled the score each time.

This draw has added to the scrutiny on Pochettino, who has stated that it might take up to five years to resolve the team’s current challenges.

With a significant team overhaul on the horizon, Gallas has advised Chelsea to seize the opportunity to acquire the valuable players from United once the transfer window commences.

‘Both Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes could be good options for Chelsea. Both are quality players,’ Gallas told Gambling Zone.

‘Bruno could definitely be the kind of midfielder who has the quality to play in the number ten role where Chelsea lack strength.

‘Chelsea are a team of young players and Bruno Fernandes has the leadership qualities to get through certain periods.’

There’s speculation that Chelsea might sell academy products Reece James and Connor Gallagher to comply with financial regulations.

Yet, Gallas advocates for retaining these homegrown talents and suggests finding alternative means to generate revenue.

‘Chelsea won’t sell Reece James, you have to keep players who have come through the academy and you need players with that identity,’ the Frenchman said.

‘He is the captain, but unfortunately, he is often injured – despite this, we should keep him. It’s the same for Connor Gallagher, they both have to stay.

‘I know that there are problems with the finances at the moment, but they have to sell another player to fix this.’
