William Gallas names Chelsea star that could help Arsenal win league title

William Gallas suggests that despite his current form at Chelsea, Mykhailo Mudryk could be a valuable asset for Arsenal, potentially aiding them in securing the Premier League title in the upcoming season.

Mudryk’s anticipated transfer to Arsenal was unexpectedly diverted last year when Chelsea stepped in and signed him.

His performance at Chelsea hasn’t lived up to expectations, with only four goals in 37 league matches.

Nevertheless, Mudryk has shown promise playing for Ukraine, contributing to their qualification for the European Championships in Germany.

However, he has not yet managed to impress Mauricio Pochettino or win the favor of the majority of Chelsea supporters.

Gallas maintains that a move to Arsenal might reignite Mudryk’s potential and play a part in a title-winning campaign next season.

Arsenal is currently locked in a tight race for the English title with Liverpool and Manchester City, but Gallas feels that Mikel Arteta’s team might have to aim for triumph in the following year.

‘I know that Emmanuel Petit spoke about Mykhailo Mudryk potentially joining Arsenal, as Mikel Arteta likes him,’ Gallas told Gambling Zone.

‘He would be a good fit for Arsenal, with his speed and quality – that’s why Arteta likes him and wanted him in the first place.

‘Before he signed for Chelsea, Arsenal nearly signed him but he changed his mind and you cannot forget that.

‘I’ve said before that Arsenal will win the title next year, not this year, and if they sign Mudryk that could help them.’

Arsenal maintained their pursuit of the Premier League title with a straightforward 2-0 victory against Luton Town on Wednesday. They are set to face Brighton in their upcoming weekend match.

On the other hand, Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea will welcome Manchester United on Thursday, aiming to gain momentum and conclude a challenging season with a positive outcome.
