FT: Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 Arsenal (3-1 AGG).

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HAVE REACHED THE UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL!

90+3mins: Trossard gets into a great shooting position but his effort is blocked. Partey is presented another opportunity for a long throw, which Donnarumma collects.

89mins: Thomas Partey is doing everything in his power to keep Arsenal in the conversation here, but they can’t quite find the crucial goal, of which they require two.

82mins: Hakimi shoots from a considerable distance, around 30 yards, and gets good power behind his effort but cannot get it on target.

80mins: A huge miss from Saka! He shoots at an open goal from the edge of the six yard box, but it sits up awkwardly for him and he launches it over the bar.

79mins: PSG looking a lot more nervous now, you’d have to say.

IT’S 2-1
ARSENAL FINALLY GET A GOAL!!!!!!!!
SAKA WITH THE GOAL

69mins: Arsenal make changes first – Calafiori and Trossard for Lewis-Skelly and Martinelli.

GOAL!!!!!!!!
PSG GETS A SECOND
2-0!!!!!!!
HAKIMI SCORES!!!!!!!

DAVID RAYA SAVES THE PENALTY…VITINHA MISSES!!!!!
CORNER TO PSG!!!

PSG HAVE A PENALTY!!!!!!

66mins: Penalty to PSG! Hakimi’s shot on the counterattack about five minutes ago clips Lewis-Skelly’s hand on the way through. Nobody, defender or attacker, seemed to know anything about it until VAR raised the issue.

65mins: Saka goes over in the box from the corner, but the referee is having none of it.

Hakimi’s shot on the counter is deflected, but Raya reacted in time.

63mins: Rory Delap would be immensely proud of Thomas Partey’s long throws. They have created Arsenal’s best chances of the night.

Saka whips a curling effort at goal, but Donnarumma at full towering stretch tips it away.

61mins: Arsenal’s period of sustained pressure ends as Merino overhits a through ball behind.

60mins: Odegaard puts a tidy cross into the area from a free kick, but it is that man again, Donnarumma, to deny. His massive wingspan is preventing Arsenal’s greatest weapon: The set piece.

58mins: Saka drops the corner right on Donnarumma’s head, and he puts it behind for another corner.

52mins: Vitinha’s delivery is poor, and Raya collects.

48mins: It should really go without saying, but the next goal will settle this tie. If Arsenal are to come back, they need a goal with some urgency.

47mins: PSG level the first assault of the half, combining nicely on the right flank to set Hakimi up for a cross, but nobody can get on the end of it.

IT’S HALF TIME
PSG 1-0 ARSENAL

44mins: Raya plays a stunning pass upfield to Saka, who cuts inside and looks to square a ball back into the area, but PSG clear.

38mins: Kvaratskhelia tries to pick his way through the Arsenal box and beats two men, but three is too many.

32mins: Arsenal’s choking press is loosening somewhat – they look understandably frustrated to have conceded.

30mins: No change in Arsenal’s approach to this match – it is still all action.

But PSG come back on the counter through Kvaratskhelia and Barcola’s shot is denied by Raya – a save equal to any of those produced by Donnarumma earlier this evening.

Corner to PSG.

PSG CLOSE TO A SECOND ALREADY!!!!
SO CLOSE!!!!!!!

THE GOAL

GOAL!!!!!PSG LEAD
FABIAN RUIZ!!!!!!!

24mins: Role reversal – Mendes is fouled by Saka.

22mins: The corner comes to nothing, but Arsenal come straight back at PSG through Merino, whose ball into the box is collected by Donnarumma.

20mins: Lewis-Skelly does wonderfully to put a stop to Hakimi’s counter-attack. This match has been relentless action so far.

17. KVARATSKHELIA HITS THE POST!.. THEY SURELY DO NOT NEED MANY CHANCES

14mins: Partey with another long throw. That makes five in the early stages and all have asked questions of the PSG defence, but none have posed too big a threat.

12mins: Hakimi goes down easily after Martinelli hits him from behind, but the ref isn’t having it. Thomas Partey launches another long throw into the box but it is cleared away again.

Could hardly have been a more nervous start for the PSG faithful.

This has been a very impressive start from the Premier League side.

They are mixing it up with clever flicks and quick movement, as well as some physical and direct football when necessary.

DONNARUMMA DENIES MARTIN ODEGAARD!

THAT IS AN INSANE SAVE!

4. Another big chance for the Gunners!

A long throw hurled into the box by Partey catches PSG off guard, allowing Martinelli to meet it sidefooted on the volley.

This time Donnarumma comes to the home side’s rescue, making an instinctive stop at point blank range.

3. DECLAN RICE SO CLOSE TO SCORING

Bukayo Saka is seeing plenty of the ball on the right side, and when he chips up a cross at the second attempt, Declan Rice rices above his marker.

The header is clean and looks destined for the top corner, yet somehow it swerves agonisingly wide.

1. Bradley Barcola leads the line for the Parisians tonight, and it’s he who gets this second leg underway.

German referee Felix Zwayer is the man in the middle; PSG are in their dark blue with a red stripe, Arsenal are in their traditional red and white.

IT’S KICK OFF

Here come the two teams!
A fireworks display fitting for the end of the century evaporates up above the Parc des Princes, the music comes to a stop, and it’s time for a HUGE Champions League semi-final second leg.

The captains of PSG and Arsenal – Marquinhos and Martin Odegaard – appear through the smoke, followed by their teams, just as the Champions League anthem starts up.
