Liverpool will register their interest in Jack Grealish in the January window amid concerns over the future of Mohamed Salah, according to reports.
Aston Villa skipper Grealish has been in scintillating form this camapaign, he has scored five goals and providing six assists in 12 Premier League games.
Jurgen Klopp has already expressed his admiration for the midfielder in the past, quipping, ‘what a footballer’ after Villa put Liverpool to the sword in a 7-2 victory.
And, the Mirror claim Liverpool will firm up their interest with Aston Villa in the January window ahead of a possible move.
Grealish has long been on the radars of Manchester United and Manchester City but neither were willing to pay his £80m price tag in the summer window.
Salah’s current contract has two-and-a-half years left to run, but the Egyptian forward has not ruled out a big-money move to either Barcelona or Real Madrid.
There are concerns that the player, who has already banged in 13 goals in 13 Premier League matches this campaign, is unhappy at the club after comments made in a recent interview.

Salah was frustrated by Klopp handing the captain’s armband to Alexander-Arnold over him for their recent Champions League game with FC Midtjylland, when Henderson and Milner were both absent.
He told AS: ‘Honestly, I was very disappointed. I was hoping to be the captain, but it’s a coach’s decision. I accept it.’
Pushed on his future, he added: ‘Who knows what will happen. But right now I am focused on winning the Premier League and the Champions League with Liverpool again.
‘That’s a tough question, but right now I can say that everything is in the hands of the club.’
His former team-mate Mohamed Aboutrika added fuel to the fire by saying he’s ‘unhappy’ in Liverpool. He said: ‘I called Salah about his situation at Liverpool and he is upset, but that would never affect his performance on the field.
‘I know that Salah is not happy in Liverpool, he told me the reasons why he is not happy but they are secrets and I cannot talk about it in public.’
