Manchester United are set to offer £50m for Raphael Varane and £25m for Eduardo Camavinga, according to reports.
The Red devils are expected to finalize a £73m move for Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho after the European Championship.
And according to Marca, Solskjaer’s side are said to be making moves to strengthen their defence and midfield with another £75m set aside for Varane and Camavinga.
Though, a fresh update has rubbished this claim, as Get French Football claim the reported £25m were met with laughter from a source at Rennes when they asked about the team accepting such offer.
Varane’s contract at Real Madrid expires next year, and although he is said to be open to an extension, he may want a new challenge and they could sanction his exit to avoid losing him for nothing.
Whereas, United often aim for younger players with room to improve, Lindelof and Eric Bailly were both signed aged 22 – Varane at 28, would represent a player with plenty of experience who is already the complete package.
Camavinga, 18, is widely seen as one of the most promising players in football having successfully broken through for Rennes aged only 16.

Like Varane, his contract also expires next summer and so Rennes could accept a lower figure than the asking price of £60m they set few months ago to prevent him leaving for free.
Although PSG and Madrid are also reported to be interested, neither team sees him as a priority now, meaning United are at the front of the queue.
