Marcus Rashford has hit out at recent reports of a dressing room divide at Manchester United, accusing reporters of inventing issues at the club.
United picked up an important win on Tuesday, beating Brighton 2-0 in the Premier League, bouncing back from recent struggles as they drew with Burnley and Southampton and were eliminated from the FA Cup by Middlesbrough.
With interim boss Ralf Rangnick struggling to find consistency in performances and results, there have been rumours of unrest in the Red devils squad.

Reports emerged in Germany that there was even a divide based on nationality, with the senior English stars opposed to Cristiano Ronaldo and his own allies.
However, Rashford has rubbished those suggestions, though, and even blasted the source of that information.
Journalist from German publication Bild, Christian Falk, tweeted: ‘The English Players like Harry Maguire, Marcus Rashford & Co are irritated that Ronaldo wants to lead the dressing room with his own clique. There is a risk of a split in the team.’
Rashford responded: ‘Are we just making it up as we go along now then? Please stop looking for divides.’
Cristiano Ronaldo has also hit out at the chat that goes on around Old Trafford, posting a defiant message after he scored the opening goal in the 2-0 victory over the Seagulls.
‘Back on track!’ Ronaldo tweeted on Tuesday. ‘Nobody gives up and there’s only one way to get back on track: hard work, team work, serious work. ‘Everything else is just noise. Let’s go Devils!’
United are looking to build on their win over Brighton when they travel to Leeds in the Premier League on Sunday before going to Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League three days later.
