Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani has reportedly made a fifth and last take-it-or-leave-it offer to buy Manchester United.
The Qatari banker and Sir Jim Ratcliffe have been locked in a battle to take over the Manchester club in a long-running saga that started in February.
But in an effort to seize control of the Premier League team, Sheikh Jassim has made a new offer to the club’s current owners, the Glazer family, and the Raine Group who are in charge of the process.

According to the Daily Mail, the bid comes with a final deadline set for the end of the week.
Jassim has already informed those overseeing the process that he will engage in discussions up until Friday.
After that deadline, his offer will still stand but will not take part in more negotiations.
The Glazers value thr club at £6billion and while the latest bid is improved, it still falls short of that figure, according to the report.
The Qatari offer is to assume total control of Manchester United while Ratcliffe’s bid is for a controlling 69 per cent stake.
It also reportedly includes huge funds for investment on recruitment and the Red Devils infrastructure.
The need to bolster Erik ten Hag’s team this summer is thought to be playing a major role in the latest bid, with Sheikh Jassim very much eager to arm the United manager with transfer funds in a key summer transfer window.
Ratcliffe was believed to be leading the race to take over the club, with the prospect of retaining a minority stake in the club a preferred option for the Glazers.
