Arsenal will sell Alexandre Lacazette to Atletico Madrid once Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang signs a new contract, according to reports.
Aubameyang is believed to be close to signing a new Arsenal deal, which will finally put an end to several months of speculation linking with a transfer away from the Emirates.
The Gabon international claimed Arsenal’s Player of the Season Award after his two goals in the FA Cup final victory over Chelsea took his goal tally to 29 for the season.
According to the Daily Star, after Aubameyang commits his future to the gunners, they will look to sell his strike partner Lacazette to Atletico Madrid for £30m.
Alexandre Lacazette has endured a difficult campaign at the Emirates, suffering with a lack of confidence in front of goal.
Lacazette’s game time has been limited since Eddie Nketiah was recalled from his loan spell at Leeds United in the January window and the report claims he is not satisfied with being on the bench.
But, with young striker Gabriel Martinelli, currently out injured, also in contention for the striker role, Lacazette’s opportunities are most likely to remain limited next campaign.

And Arsenal are closing in on Chelsea free agent Willian, combined with the positive noises around Aubameyang’s talks, is set to hasten his exit from the club.
The 29-year-old has scored just 10 Premier League goals this season, meanwhile Aubameyang was able to score 22 from the left-wing.
And Lacazette has been consistently linked with a transfer move to Atletico Madrid and almost ended up at the Spanish side before signing for the Gunners in 2017.
The Frenchman has just two years left on his Arsenal contract, with no negotiations yet over extending his stay at the club.
