Barcelona dressing room wants Neymar back at the club

If there is one thing that has always been clear in the ongoing Neymar saga, it is that the Barcelona dressing room would welcome the Brazil international back with open arms.

As the chances of leaving Paris Saint-Germain look increasingly likely for Neymar, the Barcelona team have made it clear that they would be happy bringing him back to Camp Nou.

There is no doubt among the players, who believe that if there is an opportunity of the deal being possible, the club should try and make it happen, and they would prefer the Brazilian to Antoine Griezmann.

They do not consider the importance of the way in which he left the club for PSG two years ago in the same way that the club do, but they believe that the good relationship between them would continue and help him get his best form.

Those players who have spoken out about the forward of late have made it clear, as Neymar return looks more possible than before.

“He’s a phenomenon, we keep in touch and still talk, in fact we have a Whatsapp group, him, Luis Suarez and me, it’s called ‘The three South Americans’ or something like that,” Lionel Messi said before the Copa America began.

“Who wouldn’t want to play alongside him and Messi again?” Luis Suarez told RAC1.

These public positionings from players have done nothing but to complicate the matter more for club directors in the offices of Camp Nou, who still remember the delicate position the club were in after Neymar left for PSG.

However, they also know that he could make a big impact at a public and private level particularly this time for the club.

There is also speculations of a done deal with Antoine Griezmann, who is still yet to officially sign for  the Spanish giants.

However, It is impossible for Barcelona to sign both Antoine Griezmann and Neymar this summer window.

“We don’t rule out or not rule out making a move for Neymar,” Josep Vives, club spokesperson, said, confirming nothing on the transfer.
