Graham Potter has annoyed some Chelsea players in the dressing room by not starting Mason Mount regularly, according to reports.
The Independent claims that the England international is a popular member of the squad at Stamford Bridge.
It is believed that some Chelsea figures are not pleased with how Mount’s game time has dropped recently, starting only one of the last five matches across all competitions.
The report explains that Potter’s view is taking the easy solution by leaving out the quieter Mount, who is less likely to kick up a fuss about his limited game time.
But that doesn’t sit well with certain members of the Blues players dropping the midfielder, though. Mount, who has been one of the club’s best players in the previous two years, is having a tough campaign.
The midfielder did get plenty of chances in the early months of Potter’s reign, but he has now fallen out of favour with the manager recently.
Although he was unavailable through suspension for the Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund. And he also missed the weekend win against Leeds with an abdomen problem, too.

The 24-year-old’s return of three goals and six assists so far this campaign is a underwhelming for someone with his attacking quality.
Meanwhile, Mount’s contract at Chelsea expires at the end of next season. And he has rejected all offers of a renewal thus far.
He wants his salary to be in line with the highest-paid players at Stamford Bridge. But club chiefs are yet to offer a contract he deems suitable.
Manchester United are reported to be admirers of Mount and are currently keeping an eye on his situation. Also, there have been stronger links over a transfer move to Anfield.
