Kai Havertz makes brutal comment over former Chelsea teammates

Kai Havertz has made a bold statement, affirming that he wouldn’t choose any of his ex-Chelsea colleagues to join him at Arsenal.

After a three-year tenure at Chelsea, the German forward made the switch to Arsenal in June 2023, a team contending for the Premier League title.

A member of the 2021 Champions League-winning Chelsea squad, Havertz played alongside notables such as Reece James and Antonio Rudiger.

Despite the caliber of his former teammates, the 24-year-old forward declined to select any of them, including the Chelsea leader and the star at Real Madrid, in a recent interview.

Havertz, who has received considerable acclaim for his contributions this season, has delivered 12 goals and six assists in 35 league matches.

In an interview with the Chinese streaming platform iQIYI, when prompted to identify any former teammate he’d like to see at Arsenal, Havertz chose none.

‘I don’t even know, I think we have everyone here,’ Havertz said. ‘I’m happy with the squad.’

When asked specifically if he would want Arsenal to sign Joao Felix, Havertz added: ‘He’s an amazing player, a quality player for sure. But yeah, I have to say that I’m happy with the squad.’

In Arsenal’s recent 3-0 victory against AFC Bournemouth, Kai Havertz played a pivotal role, skillfully earning a penalty for his team before the break.

Post-match, Havertz expressed high praise for teammate Bukayo Saka, making a significant statement about the winger. He indicated that he holds Saka in higher esteem than any of his previous Chelsea teammates.

‘He’s unbelievable and shows it every week,’ Havertz said about his Arsenal teammate Saka.

‘I think he’s 21 or 22 and I’ve never seen a player like this.

‘England are very lucky. He’s hungry every day and if you see him in training he’s special.’
