Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson wants a loan move in the January transfer window after David de Gea reclaimed the number one spot, according to reports.
The England star had become Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s preferred choice at the end of last campaign before a number of issues early on this season derailed his chances.
Henderson hasn’t even made the bench for the Red devils so far this campaign with the keeper struggling to get back to fitness after suffering with Covid-19.

The 24-year-old goalie spent two successful years on loan at Sheffield United which catapulted him into the limelight at the theatre of dreams.
But De Gea’s early-season form has been outstanding and Henderson faces a huge battle to get back into Solskjaer’s team.
According to The Sun, Henderson wants a January loan move after his dream of establishing himself as Manchester United’s first choice fell flat.
Solskjaer was still ready to start the England international this campaign until long Covid initially made him unable to even train at all.
Henderson has now returned to full training and even played two games for United’s under-23s side recently – but the keeper now has his heart set on a January loan exit elsewhere to regain his form.
A report in ESPN over the weekend claimed that Solskjaer still remains ‘undecided’ over his United’s No.1 despite David De Gea’s form.
But, former United player Lee Sharpe – while speaking last month – believes De Gea should still be considered the club’s top choice.
