Lip reader reveals what Aston Villa fan shouted at Hojlund after Man Utd star’s gesture

A professional lip reader has disclosed the alleged conversation between Douglas Luiz and Rasmus Hojlund as the latter left the pitch during Manchester United’s 2-1 victory over Aston Villa, alongside what a fan shouted.

Hojlund, who scored the opening goal for United in the first half, marking his fifth goal in five consecutive games and further asserting his impact on Erik ten Hag’s team.

He seized the opportunity to run down the clock when United took the lead 2-1, eventually being substituted in the closing stages.

As he exited the field, Hojlund gestured ‘2-1’ with his fingers towards Villa fans, much to their displeasure.

However, the Dane was also engaged in a heated exchange with Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz, who had previously equalized for the hosts in the second half. Luiz grabbed Hojlund’s shirt before the two exchanged words.

Jeremy Freeman, a professional lip reader, has reportedly provided insight into the exact dialogue Luiz allegedly uttered during the altercation, according to the Daily Mail.

The midfielder said to Hojlund: “You s**t, come on, you know, you push off, just go off.”

A supporter then shouted towards the United forward: “You f***er, f**k off, you f***ing n**ce.”

Emotions ran high at Villa Park, yet Manchester United successfully maintained their composure to secure a vital three points, which could prove pivotal in determining the Champions League qualifiers for the next season.

Under Ten Hag’s leadership, United currently sit in sixth place, trailing fourth-placed Tottenham by six points.

A defeat in the Midlands would have widened the gap to 11 points, with Villa potentially occupying the fourth spot in the Premier League table instead.

Speaking after the match, Ten Hag told the club’s official website: “It [the win] was massive. It’s a massive win for us. “We get closer, and that was the aim for today and was absolutely our target. And we did it.

“And I think the way we did, I think I liked it, and of course, I liked especially the first 20 minutes. And when we are dictating the game, after I think we are dropping a little bit too much.

“We had our moments in the counter attacks, but yeah, I think then at 1-1, to fight back, we are really happy for today.”
