Anthony Martial’s wife has blasted Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s claim that the player has been unavailable due to injury ahead of Manchester United’s Premier League game with Tottenham.
The France international scored in his last appearance for the Red devils which was the 1-1 draw with Everton on October 2.
Martial has not been included in the club’s last three matchday squads and has also been left out of United’s team against Tottenham on Saturday.

Earlier this week, Solskjaer said that Martial was now in contention to play after his spell on the sideline. But the forward’s wife, Melanie, now alleges that he has been fit and available for selection.
When asked by a supporter on Instagram if her husband was injured, Melanie replied: ‘Anthony has never been injured. He only had food poisoning two weeks ago.’
In another post on Instagram, Melanie also showed a short clip of Martial cycling with the caption: ‘Never give up’.
Meanwhile, Solskjaer chose to deploy a back five for United’s trip to Tottenham after their 5-0 hammering at home to Liverpool last week.
Raphael Varane returned to the team to form a three-man defence alongside Victor Lindelof & Harry Maguire.
Speaking ahead of the game, Gary Neville criticised Solskjaer’s tactics. He said: ‘It is a little bit last throw of the dice, they’ve been absolutely disgraceful defensively over the last couple weeks.
‘This is one of the most defensive Man Utd teams I think I’ve ever seen. ‘It’s a poor reflection on the more talented players in the squad that he can’t trust them to do work without the ball.’
