Jadon Sancho is among the Manchester United players slated for a departure in the upcoming New Year, according to plans by Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
The 71-year-old Ineos chief has secured a £1.3 billion deal for a minority stake in the club with the Glazers, and once this agreement is finalized at a board meeting, he is set to take control of sporting operations.

The imminent confirmation of Ratcliffe’s deal suggests substantial structural changes at Old Trafford.
A revamp of the club’s recruitment strategy is a priority for Ratcliffe, with ongoing reports indicating the search for a sporting director. Tentative plans are already being made for the January transfer window.
As per a recent report from The Sun, Sancho is among the underperforming players United is willing to part ways with in January.
Unlike Antony and Anthony Martial, also mentioned in the report, Sancho is not currently in Erik ten Hag’s plans and has not played for the Red Devils since August.
The former Borussia Dortmund winger has been excluded from first-team facilities after a public dispute with Ten Hag, who alleged that Sancho was omitted from the squad in September due to subpar training performances.
Sancho refuted these claims on social media, refusing to apologize to Ten Hag, leading to his exclusion from the first-team picture.
Mirror Football previously reported that some of Sancho’s United teammates, including Harry Maguire, Marcus Rashford, and Luke Shaw, urged him to apologize to Ten Hag.
With Sancho standing firm, it is expected that United will entertain inquiries for the forward, who they acquired for £73 million in the summer of 2021.
While United is open to offloading players like Sancho in January, the willingness of clubs to meet the financial demands remains uncertain.
While United may accept a loss on the significant sum spent two years ago, a loan exit appears to be a more plausible scenario for Sancho, who attracted interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League earlier this year.
