Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos has warned Cristiano Ronaldo to ‘clarify’ his future at the Bernabeu and says he won’t get better than the club.
The Portugal international hinted after Saturday’s Champions League final win against Liverpool that he could have played his last game for the club.
‘It was very nice to be at Real Madrid. In the next few days, I will speak. I am going to enjoy this with my team-mates and in the next few days I’ll give an answer,’ said Ronaldo after the match.
The 33-year-old has enjoyed another outstanding year at Madrid, ending the season with 44 goals in 45 appearances.
However, Ramos has warned Ronaldo to clarify his comments.
‘I suppose he will have been speaking about a summary of the season,’ said Ramos when made aware of the interview Ronaldo gave.
‘If there is something there, he must clarify it today.
‘He is a key piece for us. He could not be in a better place.’
Ronaldo has been linked with a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain and a move to France could pave the way for Neymar to move to Madrid.
