Benjamin Sesko has not been secretive about his stance on a potential transfer to Manchester United.
Arsenal ascended to the summit of the Premier League once again after narrowly defeating United with a score of 1-0 this Sunday, thanks to a strike from Leandro Trossard in the first half.

Supporters at Old Trafford might have been left disheartened by their team’s recent performance, especially following a crushing 4-0 defeat to Crystal Palace just a few days prior.
Nonetheless, there could be reasons for optimism off the field, as the agent of RB Leipzig’s standout player Sesko was seen in the audience.
Elvis Basanovic, representing the Pro Transfer Agency, shared an image on Instagram showcasing his presence at Old Trafford.
“Just an ordinary day in the Premier League office,” he wrote.
Manchester United is expected to pursue a new striker in the upcoming transfer window, as Rasmus Hojlund has faced challenges carrying the team’s attacking responsibilities alone for a significant part of the season.
Benjamin Sesko was a name associated with a move to United in 2021, especially after being endorsed by the club’s former interim manager, Ralf Rangnick.
Despite the interest, Sesko opted to transfer to RB Leipzig from RB Salzburg in 2023, rather than joining United.
Now 20 years old, Sesko’s progress has been impressive, scoring 17 goals in 41 appearances this season.
In September 2023, when asked about Man United’s interest, Sesko told Transfermarkt: “The thing is, I wasn’t really involved in these kinds of conversations.
“But I think it was better to come here. It was very important for me to go to a place that plays a similar style of football.
“I already knew what I had to do and didn’t have to go through a whole learning process again.”
Whether Sesko, who is said to have a £60m release clause, would be open to a Premier League transfer move so early in his Bundesliga career remains to be seen.
