Solskjaer hits out at Man Utd flops and says: ‘You’re going to get me the sack’

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer branded his players ’embarrassing’ and particularly declared they were going to get him the sack after their defeat against Newcastle, according to reports.

The loss to Newcastle has increased the pressure on Ole Solskjaer, who now fears his job hangs in the balance.

The United boss has repeatedly slammed his players behind closed doors this campaign, but has always opted to defend his team in public.

The Sun claim the Norwegian is now becoming more and more alarmed about his position at Old Trafford and told his players they were going to get him fired.

Solskjaer claimed the performance against the Magpies was ’embarrassing’, with the Red devils now stranded in the bottom half of the Premier League table.

United are just two points above the relegation zone and Solskjaer ripped into his under-performing players after the Newcastle match.

Solskjaer insisted it was not just him that faced the axe, but the players were also likely to be ousted by the head coach who took over after his dismissal.

The Norwegian coach told his team to have a hard look at themselves during the international break.

Manchester United will be back in the deep end once the break is over this month, with Liverpool scheduled to travel to Old Trafford.

Ed Woodward has already given his backing to his under-fire coach, but there are fears inside the club a heavy loss to Liverpool will mean the end of Solskjaer’s time in charge.
