Sterling & Mason Mount reacts as Chelsea star’s exit is confirmed

The farewell messages are starting to flood in for N’Golo Kante after it was finally confirmed that he’ll be leaving Chelsea this summer.

The West London side have announced that Kante will be leaving Stamford Bridge when his contract expires at the end of June.




And he is now the latest high-profile footballer moving to Saudi Arabia, where he will be joining Al-Ittihad and linking up with Karim Benzema.

Current and past Chelsea players took to social media with messages for Kante, including Mason Mount and Raheem Sterling.

The 32-year-old is definitely going to leave a huge hole around the club both on and off the pitch following his incredible displays in the Blues shirt.

Sterling uploaded on his Instagram story: “All the best for the future.”

And Mason Mount’s Instagram story read: “Legend.” Finally, Barcelona star and former Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso said on his Instagram story: “Legend, all the best.”

France international, Kante cemented his legacy as a true Chelsea legend during only seven years at the club.

Meanwhile, Kante also sent a message to Chelsea fans, He said: “The first day I joined Chelsea, I was told very early on that the objective here is always to win trophies. Always. I’ve managed to do that and I’m so grateful for my coaches, my team-mates and the Chelsea supporters for helping me achieve this.

“The last few years at this club have been great for me and, I hope, for the Chelsea fans too.”
