Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has reportedly spoken with Adrien Rabiot about a possible move to Old Trafford this summer.
The Juventus midfielder’s deal with the Serie A club is due to expire at the end of the season. And it will be interesting to see what happens because of the details that came to light last year.
According to L’Equipe, the Red Devils are keen on Rabiot again. They agreed a fee with Juventus for the player last summer, only for the player’s wage demands to scupper his chances of a Premier League move.

And, back in August, it was reported that Ten Hag had held discussions with the France international behind the scenes.
It was claimed the United manager had told Rabiot he would be a certain starter at the club, despite the other players at his disposal.
The report also said that while the 28-year-old would prefer to leave Juventus for a Champions League side, he was willing to make an exception to wear United’s iconic colours.
A deal didn’t materialise. And United ended up signing Casemiro instead, with the Brazil international pursuing a new challenge after winning every major trophy at Real Madrid.
But now, it appears the Red Devils are keen on Rabiot again. He is a slick midfield operator and would bring experience to Ten Hag’s side also.
Rabiot remains divisive despite his career achievements, with the player’s attitude previously leaving much to be desired towards the end of his time in the French Ligue 1.
With United looking to challenge clubs like Manchester City and Arsenal for the Premier League title, the 28-year-old midfielder could be useful.
A move for Rabiot would complicate a permanent arrangement deal for Marcel Sabitzer.
