Carabao Cup draw in full: Arsenal, Chelsea & Man City discover opponents

Carabao Cup holders Manchester City are set to travel to West Ham in the fourth round of this season’s competition.

Pep Guardiola’s team came from a goal down to thump Wycombe Wanderers 6-1 on Tuesday, ensuring their hopes of winning the competition for a fifth campaign running remained intact.




Liverpool, who have the record for the most EFL Cup titles (8) with Man City, were given an away draw versus Preston as the remaining clubs were drawn out of the hat shortly after this yesterday’s games.

West Ham bounced back from their Premier League defeat to Man United to secure a 1-0 win at Old Trafford and David Moyes’ side will host the reigning champions in the next round.




Chelsea, meanwhile, with play Southampton at Stamford Bridge for a place in the quarter-finals after seeing off Aston Villa, while Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal were drawn against Leeds after their 3-0 win over AFC Wimbledon.

Tottenham will face Burnley at Turf Moor after their penalty shootout defeat of Wolves and Leicester City will play host to Brighton after they ran out 2-0 winners against Millwall.

Elsewhere, Stoke City are set to face Brentford, while QPR prepare to welcome to League One side Sunderland at Loftus Road.

The fourth round of the Carabao Cup is set to take place across the week starting on October 25.




Manchester United, which was led by Jose Mourinho at the time, were the last team to win the trophy before Man City’s reign of dominance since 2017.

Guardiola’s City side can lift the trophy for a seventh time in nine years should they go on to triumph this campaig.
