Man Utd finally agree deal to sign Alex Telles from Porto

Manchester United have finally reached a total agreement to sign Alex Telles. The Brazilian star has been pursued by Solskjaer throughout the summer. And, now, a move to the club is on the cards.

The Red devils have spent the past few weeks trying to sign Telles from Porto, having missed out on the signing of Sergio Reguilon who signed for Tottenham.

Solskjaer wants to sign another left-back to provide competition for Luke Shaw who, after years of inconsistency, has finally nailed down the position at Old Trafford.

Manchester United have loaned out Diogo Dalot and, as a result, feel they need strengthening in the team.

United have now reached a total agreement with Porto to sign Alex Telles, who will move to Old Trafford to undergo medical checks.

The defender won’t be last player to join United, however, with the club also being set to sign Edinson Cavani on a free.

Cavani is understood to be on his way to the theatre of dreams for a medical of his own. And the club, after dragging their feet throughout the summer window so far, are now poised to splash the money.

They are still hoping to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund before Monday’s 11pm deadline, but this a deal seems very unlikely.
