Man Utd have made an ‘offer’ for Real Madrid star

Manchester United is said to be eyeing Real Madrid’s goalkeeper Andriy Lunin as a potential replacement for their recent acquisition, Andre Onana.

Following the departure of David de Gea, last season’s Premier League Golden Glove recipient, without a renewed contract, Onana joined from Inter Milan for an alleged fee of £47.5 million.

Despite initial challenges in meeting the high expectations set for him, Onana’s performance has seen a positive turn in recent times.

Erik ten Hag, Manchester United’s manager, has consistently supported Onana, yet there have been whispers of the club seeking a new goalkeeper.

Reports from Nacional, as covered by Football 365, suggest that Manchester United has extended an offer to Lunin.

Lunin has been the primary goalkeeper for Real Madrid for most of the current season due to Thibaut Courtois’ significant knee injury.

However, with Courtois poised to reclaim his position upon recovery, Lunin is reportedly contemplating his future, with his contract nearing its end next year.

The 25-year-old Ukrainian has also been associated with a potential transfer to Arsenal, where he would likely step in for Aaron Ramsdale, rather than David Raya, who is anticipated to finalize his move from Brentford.
