Conte makes threat to Chelsea over sacking
Antonio Conte has threatened Chelsea chiefs that he will take a year-long sabbatical if he’s sacked this summer, in order to get most compensation from the club.
Despite winning the Premier League and the FA Cup in his two years in charge at Stamford Bridge, Conte is still expected to be sacked from his role as manager.
His relationship with the Chelsea board deteriorated after a row over last summer’s transfers and he would leave for some time.

Chelsea were reluctant to sack him sooner due to fears over a huge compensation bill but they face a £9m pay out anyway with Conte considering taking a 12-month break from football.
