Jose Mourinho refused to answer whether he’s getting the best out of French midfielder Paul Pogba – telling the press: “I don’t like your question.”
The Manchester United manager re-signed Pogba from Juventus back in 2016, but the two have struggled to work together professionally over the last two campaign.
Mourinho recently dropped the £89m star for United’s game with Arsenal, which they drew 2-2, and their 4-1 thrashing of Fulham at Old Trafford.
Ahead of Manchester United’s Champions League game with Valencia Mourinho was asked if he thinks he’s getting the most out of the France international.
He responded: “I don’t think your question goes in the direction of what I want to answer. I don’t like your question. You can put the question from another direction, I don’t like the direction of the question.”
Juan Mata was with Mourinho in the press conference and was also asked about Pogba. And he said: “We all have better and worse moments in our careers, as a team-mate, what I can do from my side is support him.
“I’m sure he will keep showing how good of a player he is and how much of a nice guy he is.”

He added: “We all know when he [Pogba] performs he’s a fantastic midfielder. If he plays good the team will improve a lot.”
